18 Internationalization/ globalization: The Bachelor in Graphic Design program was developed on the basis of cooperation and collaboration. The program always seeks for connections and exchange with domestic universities and enterprises. The program also aims to understand the needs of businesses in terms of personnel and market demand. For international universities, the program will always adopt new models, and get updated with industry trends through activities such as: international seminars, workshops, and annual exhibitions with partners who are universities from countries such as Korea, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Italy, etc. Currently, the Bachelor in Graphic Design program has a cooperation program, enabling students to participate in workshops in Korea.

19 Program educational objectives (PEOs) A few years after graduation, graduates will be able to:

- PEO 1: Perform graphic design works professionally based on modern standards; display professional ethics, and respect intellectual property.
- PEO 2: Develop a passion for creativity and problem solving; always strive to overcome the obstacles and challenges of the Graphic Design industry.
- PEO 3: Lead a cross-functional team; respecting cultural differences and diversity; always aim to raise the aesthetic standards of the society; work for the benefit of the community and the society.

21 Program learning outcomes (PLOs): After successful completion of the program, students are able to:

Knowledge

1. General knowledge (PLO 1): Apply knowledge of social sciences, politics, and law into the field of Graphic Design. 1.1. Apply knowledge of social sciences (cultural and arts studies) into the field of Graphic Design.
1.2. Apply knowledge of politics and law into the field of Graphic Design.

2. Foundational professional knowledge (PLO 2): Generate design ideas based on foundational knowledge and understanding of contemporary issues within the field of Graphic Design. 2.1. Provide ideas for design that are relevant to the context of the industry.
2.2. Apply appropriate design methods in order to create products that satisfy market needs.

3. Design knowledge (PLO 3): Develop products for communication purposes and aesthetical expressions. 3.1. Identify elements in the design system such as: communication purposes, advertising image, icons, types, colors, patterns, etc.
3.2. Apply appropriate design methods in order to effectively express the design ideas.

Skills

4. Teamwork (PLO 4): Work with the team, both as a team leader and a team member. 4.1. Develop a work plan of the team in a scientific way.
4.2. Collaborate effectively with the team.
5. Communication (PLO 5): Communicate with stakeholders using oral, written, and multimedia means; satisfy English proficiency requirements as regulated by the Ministry of Education and Training. 5.1. Communicate effectively with stakeholders using oral, written, and multimedia means.
5.2. Use B1-level English in order to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
6. Usage of resource, tools and technology (PLO 6): Utilize modern technology for design works in the field of Graphic Design. 6.1. Utilize digital tools proficiently for the purpose communication and image development.
6.2. Apply appropriate printing technologies in order to create graphic design products.
6.3. Utilize specialized software for graphic design and other supporting software proficiently.
6.4. Utilize Information Technologies proficiently in order to collect, store, and retrieve data on design management.
7. Design skills (PLO 7): Apply basic art skills as well as specialized skills in Graphic Design in order to create design products. 7.1. Apply basic art skills proficiently in order to create design products.
7.2. Apply practical skills in graphic design proficiently in order to create design products.
7.3. Apply specialized skills in the field of Graphic Design in order to create design products.
8. Research (PLO 8): Conduct research into the field of Graphic Design using appropriate research approaches and methods. 8.1. Select appropriate survey and research methods based on the research objectives.
