Appendix I: Course description

Brief description of main topics and/or skill groups taught in the courses, the duration and distribution between theory and practice/exercise/project/etc.

Philosophy of Mark - Lenin: Introduces one of the three components of Marxism-Leninism. The course content consists of 3 chapters, explaining general issues related to the existence and development of the world in general, the existence and development of human society in particular. The course helps students have the correct perspective, positive outlook on life, as well as dialectical and scientific methodology in order to help them solve problems practical issues. The course is also a basis for students to well absorb political theory courses, as well as other science courses.

Physical Education 1: The course provides theoretical knowledge and practical skills in sports in order to improve students' health. Depending on the sport that students chooses, there will be different lessons and knowledge.

English 1: The course provides knowledge and skills in academic English at the Elementary level 1. Basic knowledge: Practice using 4 skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Basic vocabulary: occupation, means of communication, travel. Basic grammar: simple sentence structure, simple present tense, simple past tense with 'to be', present continuous tense, using basic linking words.
Advanced knowledge: Practice 4 skills of listening-speaking-reading-writing using Advanced vocabulary: population, visual age, exploration; Advanced grammar: natural word combinations, infinitive verbs, imperative sentences, modal verbs.
Extensive knowledge/skills: presentation, teamwork, creative thinking, critical thinking, problem solving.

Basic informatics: The course provides:
Basic IT concepts; basic knowledge of computer structures, computer networks; occupational safety and environmental protection in Information and Communication Technology; Issues related to information security and law in IT; Basic computer use. The content focuses on instructing students on how to proficiently use personal computers, basic utilities, typing in Vietnamese, and text printing.
Text editor: Introduction and overview of document design tools with Microsoft Word 2010
Spreadsheet processing: Learn about professional computing with Microsoft Excel, version 2010. Use functions and algorithms to solve real-world problems and situations.
Basic slideshow: Build presentations with basic and advanced techniques in Microsoft PowerPoint 2010
Basic Internet: Searching for information on the web, using e-mail, learning about e-commerce applications, online communities. Developing safe information security habits for users.

Principles of Art: The course presents contents about visual structure, visual laws, visual aids, basic types of layout, basic theories and practices of coloring, solid color rings, principles of basic shaping. There are also practical exercises to support the theoretical knowledge.

Foundational of Art: The course provides students with basic knowledge about colors, methods of using colors in decoration, how to choose and capture objects to create stylized patterns to be applied in exercises of the course.
The course also provides students with methods for researching, captureing actual speciments such as flowers, leaves, insects, etc. to form simple, stylized patterns with high aesthetic appeal, suitable for the field of study. In addition, students will practice hand-drawing skills and color perception, and apply that knowledge into the course in the most creative and effective way.
Through this, students will gain basic knowledge and know how to apply it into the layout of square pictures; proficiently use the principles of colors, the principle of stylization of textures in order to meet the requirements of the exercises, creating works with high levels of aesthetics and creativity.

Basic Drawing, I: This is a compulsory course for first-year students, which is the foundation for all courses related to visual arts. It is divided into 2 parts including: drawing and analyzing basic blocks, drawing and analyzing still life samples.

Digital Application: The course instructs students on how to use basic Photoshop for purposes such as creating and saving files according to the requirements of each design type; manipulating selections to create a product according to templates; using brushes, pens and color tools to complete basic sample exercises. Students are guided on the process of cropping and processing images using groups of image editing tools such as clone stamp, background eraser tool, color correction, filters. The course also introduces to techniques and styles to be used in complex image processing exercises.

Political economy of Marx - Lenin: The content of the course focuses on studying the theories of labor value, the production process of surplus value in the period of free-competitive capitalism, the period of monopoly and state monopoly; The course also talks about the socialist-oriented market economy in Vietnam, the perspectives and solutions on industrialization and modernization, and the problem of international economic integration of Vietnam.

English 2: The course provides knowledge and skills for academic English at pre-primary level 2:

Basic knowledge: Practice 4 skills of listening-speaking-reading-writing using: Basic vocabulary: risk and reward, wildlife protection, environmental protection, invention, etc; Basic grammar: simple present tense, adverbs of frequency, simple past tense, future tense, etc.

Advanced knowledge: Practice 4 listening-speaking-reading-writing skills using: Advanced vocabulary: stolen treasures, space exploration and seabed exploration, DNA and its applications, etc. Advanced grammar: present perfect tense, modal verbs, etc.

Extensive knowledge/skills: presentation, teamwork, creative thinking, critical thinking, problem solving.

Methodology of creativity: The course introduces 2 main groups of content
- Theory of creativity, techniques and creative thinking tools
- Practical application of creative thinking tools in Graphic design

Perspective: Students are provided with theoretical knowledge in: An overview of the law of perpective, the psycho-physiological characteristics of vision, spatial expression on the plane, line perspective, and how to express chromas.
Students will learn how to use the horizon line in drawings; free perspective angles; choosing one-point, two-point or three-point perspective through perspective drawing of some basic shapes and a group of products placements in order to achieve a layout; drawing a complete sketch according to the laws of vision.

Typography 1: The course covers the basic rules and principles used in the design of typefaces in a modular way, thereby training students to think about system design, and understand the anatomy of letters and simultaneously generate them. Students can explore and get creative with the design of letters for decorative and expressive purposes.
The course also train students with professional skills: how to analyze, evaluate, and design typefaces and decorative applications for letters.
In addition, the course also teaches critical thinking skills, problem solving skills, and soft skills: communication skills, independent working skills.

Basic Graphic Decorations: The course consists of 2 parts:
- Knowledge about basic layout forms to create visual balance for decorative painting drawings, tools to develop reasonable graphic techniques for decorative drawings.
- Professional knowledge and skills to capture actual specimens using sketching method (pencil-pencil material). Produce array - stroke - color sketches. Create colorful decorations.

Basic Drawing 2: The course includes both theory and practical activities, which deals with the study of the human body. Basic knowledge of the human body such as: proportions, shapes, structures, methods of drawing human figures. Students are guided to draw a sketch with models of portraits, full-body statues in class and sketching exercises at home.
This course is required for first-year students and is the foundation for all courses related to the visual arts. This course helps students shape and develop skills of observation, analysis, evaluation and expression of fine art images. Students will then apply these knowledge and skills into theirn major.

Nation defense education: The course consists of 11 lessons: Lesson 1 introduces the course, tasks and learning methods of the course; Lesson 2 introduces the basic contents of Marxist-Leninist, Ho Chi Minh's thought on war, the army and national defense; Lessons 3 to 11 introduce the main contents of the defense and security policies of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Adobe illustration: The course consists of two main courses:
- Basic object drawing tools (pentool, path, brush, align, pathfinder), color scheme tools (color, gradient, fill, stroke, mesh, blend), text manipulation (type tool), image processing (clipping mask, live trace, link, filter, appearence, transparency), supporting graphics (pattern, symbol), 3D effect.
- Students apply tools and aesthetic thinking to create a graphic project on the computer, and proficiently use Adobe Illustrator design software.

Elective I: Soft skills (Communication skills/ Practical in professional / Time management skills / Method of learning in university): This course helps students understand the goals and nature of learning, and the high-level learning competencies suitable for university learning. Students will learn about the necessary skills to be able to be autonomous in learning such as: searching for information, listening to lectures, and taking notes in class, reading and responding to information. In addition, this course also provides other useful knowledge for student life such as planning for their own progress to help students best adapt to the university learning environment and develop a spirit of lifelong learning. Students also learn the basics of communication skills, self-understanding and identifying objects of communication in order to have an appropriate way of communication; presentation skills; teamwork skill.

Scientific Socialism: The course consists of 7 chapters: the birth of the communist socio-economic form; socio-political issues of regularity in the process of socialist revolution. Using knowledge of the course, students will apply and analyze the rise of socio-political issues, the formation and development of the communist socio-economic form, and the future path for socialism in Vietnam. Students are educated on the scientific beliefs, political stances, the correct and objective ideas and attitudes about the course in particular and the ideological foundation of the Communist Party of Vietnam in general.

English 3: The course provides knowledge and skills of academic English at the level above elementary level 2:
- Basic knowledge: Practice 4 skills of listening-speaking-reading-writing using: Basic vocabulary: daily activities, occupation, emotions, entertainment, etc.
- Basic grammar: present continuous, past simple, countable and uncountable nouns, etc.
- Advanced knowledge: Practice 4 skills of listening-speaking-reading-writing using: Advanced vocabulary: advertising, weather, green lifestyle, food. Advanced grammar: problem expression and give solutions, how to write supporting sentences, how to present reasons, descriptive adjectives, etc.
- Extensive knowledge/skills: presentation, teamwork, creative thinking, critical thinking, problem solving.

History of graphic design: The course includes 5 groups of knowledge about: Overview of the history of graphic design. The history of the art of writing. History of printmaking. History of illutrations. Graphic design trends through the ages. The process of forming art trends throughout historical periods.

Advanced graphic decoration: The course includes theoretical knowledge about important elements in graphics, principles of visual design, brainstorming methods to think and solve problems. Students will make mindmap diagrams to discover and select new ideas for topics and objects. Students will also implement the development process from concept to sketch and perfect the 72 graphic tricks; create stylized celebrity portraits.
Typography II: The course provides knowledge about the history of fonts. Based on the font structure, learn how to recognize types of fonts throughout history.
At the same time, students will lear how to apply how to create fonts that match the information content, as well as colors in the text and stylize the structure of the text, how to combine common fonts; For text in documents: content hierarchy, layout, etc.; Grid in text Brandname design trends in recent years.

Fundamentals of Graphic Design: The course consists of 5 main parts:
The process of setting up the design basis from requirements to solutions
How to set requirements in graphic design (Briefing)
Brainstorming for problem solving
The process of finding and developing ideas in graphic design solutions (Ideating)
Apply theory to quickly implement and present design solutions (Prototyping & Final Presentation)

Ho Chi Minh Ideology: The course consists of 6 chapters, providing students with basic knowledge about concepts, objects, research methods, meaning of studying Ho Chi Minh's ideology; the formation and development of Ho Chi Minh's thought and his basic ideas on national independence and socialism, the Communist Party of Vietnam, developing the state of the people, about great national unity and international solidarity, about culture, morality and developing a new human. The course also talks about the will and action to strive for the revolutionary goals and ideals that Ho Chi Minh, the Communist Party of Vietnam, and Vietnamese people have chosen.

English 4: The course provides knowledge and skills of Academic English at Intermediate level:
- Basic knowledge: Practice 4 skills of listening-speaking-reading-writing using: Basic vocabulary: future, discovery, music - art, etc. Basic grammar: basic linking words texts, pronouns, conjunctions, phrases expressing interests and desires, etc.
- Advanced knowledge: Practice 4 skills of listening-speaking-reading-writing using: Advanced vocabulary: the relationship between people and nature, communication. Advanced grammar: time phrases, comparisons, emotional words, present perfect tense, etc.
- Extensive knowledge/skills: presentation, teamwork, creative thinking, critical thinking, problem solving..

Bookcover design: The bookcover design project includes: main cover, transition page, single page and double pages.
The creative process will help develop a system of decorative textures and components that are reasonable, creative, applicable, and diverse.
Students will learn how to use text elements and typography techniques, layout techniques from simple to complex for each design genre.
The technique of presentation must be impressive and eye-catching, exploiting the colors and images of the content.
Students will practice their skills by designing finished products.

Photography: The course includes 2 main contents: Outdoor photography and studio photography. Students will practice photography techniques and outdoor photography. Basic elements of camera techniques and composition techniques when shooting outdoors, practice shooting outdoors with natural light in 4 themes (portrait, macro, backlit, landscape). In addition, students will practice studio photography techniques, and learn how to use and set up studio lighting.
Activities are always integrated with knowledge and practice through outdoor exercises, studio exercises, group exercises

Digital Image Editing: The course includes advanced knowledge of image processing techniques using Photoshop, techniques of color correction and image compositing, special effects in relation to the course and creative ideas. During the learning process, students will practice their skills under the guidance of the lecturer, and actively follow the instructions of the design process to create cartoon posters. The course also provides file management and technical assurance skills for the final printed product.
There will be small exercises for students to apply design commands and skills, and at the end of the semester, students will make a cartoon poster for final assessment.

Fundamentals of Drawing 1: - This is a creative course. Students can flexibly apply the basic knowledge of Graphics into the Drawings. Through classroom exercises, based on observation, analysis, sample study and drawing exercises, students can consolidate their knowledge, practice visual thinking skills, and hand-drawing skills. On this basis, students can show their drawings with the right scientific method, and aesthetic value. Students will also develop skills in self-composition for the Graphic industry.

English 5: The course provides knowledge and skills in academic English at the upper-intermediate level:
Basic knowledge: Practice 4 skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing using: Basic vocabulary: happiness, health and lifestyle, technology and invention. Basic grammar: action verbs and state verbs, past continuous, etc.
Advanced knowledge: Practice 4 skills of listening-speaking-reading-writing using: Advanced vocabulary: environmental protection, culture and tradition, memory and brain, etc. Advanced grammar: present tense, perfect tense, active and passive sentences, cause and effect phrases, etc.
Extensive knowledge/skills: presentation, teamwork, creative thinking, critical thinking, problem solving..

History of arts: Main content of the course: the formation and development of Vietnamese fine arts since the nation’s founding up to now, which consists of two parts: 1. Ancient fine arts. 2. Modern art.
The course systematically provides knowledge about the history of Vietnamese art, the characteristics of each period of art, the typical works in the treasure of Vietnam's cultural and artistic heritage, the types and stages of art, modern art trends, and train students in the skills of analyzing artworks, encouraging students to apply their aesthetic knowledge to express themselves in their narrow major. The course teaches students to be aware of and appreciate the values of national art in social life, to form a sense of professional ethics of art creators and soft skills for teamwork and individual work, presentation skills, and serious thinking and attitude in the process of studying and researching.

Fundamentals of Drawing 2: Students flexibly apply the basic knowledge of Graphics to their Drawings. Through classroom exercises, on the basis of observation, analysis, sample study and drawing exercises, students can consolidate their knowledge, practice visual thinking skills, and hand-drawing skills. There are two stages: the first invovles studying of sketching, rendering, human figure drawing; the second stage invovles studying of sketching, rendering, landscape painting and the final lesson is a synthesis drawing.

Seminar 1: Graphic technology: The industrial revolution 4.0 has brought a substantial development of technology, and it has profoundly affected all aspects of life in general and the graphic design industry in particular. The course helps students learn about the current new technologies and their applications in life as well as in the field of graphic design. Students are also introduced to some specific graphic design products that have been applied with new technology, thereby helping students gain a new perspective in order to adapt to the explosion of technology in the field of graphic design.

Packaging design: The course project includes the following topics:
Definition of packaging, the role and classification of packaging, technical and aesthetic requirements when designing packaging, how to handle packaging materials.
Market research skills, Group research
Packaging design: Students will learn about research methodology, how to carry out market survey, how to apply survey results in research. Design methods, principles that must be follower when designing product packaging.
Students conduct products research on: color, packaging material, form of expression, folding structure of packaging, etc. Students will make use of mindmaps in the course.
Students will ned to demonstrate a product packaging system, including at least 2 types of large products and accompanying publications of the system such as stamps, labels, lids, trays, paper bags containing the products, etc.

English 6: The course provides knowledge and skills of Academic English at the Pre-Advanced level:
Basic knowledge: Practice 4 skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing using: Basic vocabulary: animals in medicine, food and diets, natural disasters. Basic grammar: describe a process with simple present tense, past passive sentences, etc.
Advanced knowledge: Practice the 4 skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing using: Advanced vocabulary: man-made wonders, natural adaptations, work and innovation. Advanced grammar: comparative adjectives, conditional sentences, present perfect.
Extensive knowledge/skills: presentation, teamwork, creative thinking, critical thinking, problem solving.

History of the Communist Party of Vietnam: The course consists of 4 chapters, presenting the birth of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the process by which the Party led the people to power (1930 - 1945), the resistance war against the French colonialists, and the American invasion, national reunification (1945 - 1975), the Party's strategy in the pocess of leading the country into socialism, and carrying out the Doi moi (1975 - 2018). The course also helps students develop a firm ideological and political stance, confidence in the Party's revolutionary leadership.

Arts Theory: The main content of the course includes: 1. Overview of Art and art theories including: Concept and origin of art, Nature of artistic image, Elements of artistic activities. 2. Types and linguistic characteristics of the main art forms: Language arts – Literature, performing arts – Music & Dance, Performing/synthetic arts – Theater, Art – Technical – Cinema & Photography. 3. Overview of Visual Arts – Fine Arts.
The course systematically provides basic knowledge of major art forms. The course also helps students develop comprehension skills, encouraging students to apply artistic knowledge to express themselves within their major. The course teaches students to become aware of and appreciate the values of art in social life, to form a sense of professional ethics of art creators and soft skills for teamwork, individual work, develop presentation and critical thinking skills, and a serious attitude in the process of studying and researching.

Seminar 2: Art - The course systematically describes to students the concepts, understanding, and development of basic knowledge in the musical art from time to time; the relationship between Music and other industries.
Specifically, it is a way to determine what the art of music is, the difference and development of music and music genres in each historical period; musical styles and applications of music in today's society.

Printmaking: Woodblock painting is a course for students to have knowledge of the printing system, the origin of world woodcut paintings, Vietnamese woodcut paintings, the principles of painting, and methods of making prints. The course aims to help students practice the following skills: distilling strokes, shapes, colors, transitions from real drawing to composing; Using materials and printing techniques with specific graphic language. The course consists of three exercises: sketch, Wood carvings, Writing a report about the process of making woodcarvings.

Traditional Print: The content of Silk Printing course includes:
- After finishing the first lecture, which introduces an overview of screen printing techniques, the students began to come up with ideas and design prints through consultation and suggestions of the lecturer on the color, layout, performance standards.
- Students conducts printing and silk-screening techniques under the supervision of the lecturers. Students will also perform silkscreen printing on fabrics and paper. Each product is recorded about the implementation process, advantages and disadvantages, the print is presented cleanly, without erasing.

Poster Design:
The course introduces the different types of poster, briefly introduce the history of the advertising poster types, the role of advertising posters in the development of businesses and markets, market factors that impact poster designs.
The course also introduces some methods of thinking to find and develop ideas; some design styles; details to pay attention to in the process of designing advertising posters (layout, colors, typographyetc.).
Students will also get to design product for an advertising poster system.

English 7: The course provides knowledge and skills in Academic English at the Upper Intermediate Level:
Basic knowledge: Practice 4 skills of listening-speaking-reading-writing using: Basic vocabulary: the environment, geography, history, art, children and family, architecture, etc.
Basic IELTS test format: choose correct sentences, connect information, identify information, describe diagrams, etc.
Advanced knowledge: Advanced vocabulary: sports, health, business, energy, communicationetc. Advanced IELTS format: complete the sentences, write short academic texts, etc.
Extensive knowledge/skills: presentation, teamwork, creative thinking, critical thinking, problem solving..

General law: The course presents the following issues: Basic issues of the State; Basic legal issues; the Constitution of Vietnam; Administrative Law and Administrative Procedures; Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure of Vietnam; Civil Law and Civil Procedure; Law on Marriage and Family of Vietnam; Law on Labor and Law on Social Security of Vietnam; Enterprise Law, Commercial Law and dispute settlement in commercial business; Real estate Law of Vietnam; Law on Anti-corruption of Vietnam and International Law.

Fundamentals of Vietnamese Cultures: General overview of Vietnamese culture, and general knowledge about Vietnamese cultural system: cultural space, cultural process, cultural course, material culture, intangible culture.

Experience with graphic in history: The course provides theoretical knowledge on the definition of cultural origin as well as accessible resources;
The course presents the research methods, practical working skills at the project;
Standards for archiving research materials on art;
The role and value of traditional art in modern application product design;
The method of combining graphic software tools, applying aesthetic theories to represent a set of textures and patterns that can be applied in practice.
At the same time, the course also teaches problem-solving thinking skills such as analyzing and evaluating the aesthetic system of textures.
Fieldwork - reporting and demonstrations

Technical and material printing: The course aims to teach students knowledge about current printing technology and methods, the industrial printing processes: design, printing, and post-print finishing stages. The course aims to help students practice skills in research, analysis and selection of materials in accordance with the requirements of the design product. The course also helps students develop a positive attitude to teamwork, awareness of occupational safety and environmental protection in the process of designing and printing.

Calendar design: The course gives a general introduction to the structure, genre, shape and trends of calendars in recent years.
Students will conduct research in order collect information and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the reference calendars in the real world.
Students will also design - produce - present the finished product
Students can design desk calendars, wall calendars, block calendars, etc. according to their strengths in the chosen design style.
The creative process will help develop a system of decorative textures and components that are reasonable, creative, applicable and diverse.
Students will learn how to exploit letter elements and typography techniques.
The technique of presentation must be impressive and eye-catching, using the colors and images of the content.

Introduction to Laws on Copyright: The course deals with the basic theories of intellectual property; legal provisions on copyright and related rights, industrial property rights, rights to plant varieties; measures to protect intellectual property rights. At the same time, the course content also mentions the provisions of international treaties on the protection of intellectual property rights that are valid in the current period of globalization.

Marketing: Students will flexibly apply the basic knowledge of applied Marketing into the field of Graphics Design. Through the process of performing group discussion exercises in class, on the basis of the theory of applied Marketing in Graphics Design, students will need to analyze and research consumer tastes, consumer behavior and buying behavior in order to be applied into graphic designs in accordance with the target customers, positioning of the product.
The course also introduces basic Marketing Theory Concepts and Market Research; Theories applied to the Graphic major: differentiated creation, brand positioning, market analysis, consumer behavior, customer dynamics and branding plans.

Layout Design: The course deasl with a specific profession in the society. Students will learn about the Process of Publishing, Concepts and Design Methods of Layout Categories, Structures and Layout Design Trends, and Layout Principles that needs attention to. The activities always integrate knowledge and practice through 2 phases with 2 major exercises which are:
Group work, Presentation, Final project

Branding: The course consists of 3 stages:
Overview of Brand Identity System, Brand Forms and Modern Brand Identity System.
Students will collect full information about the history and development of Vietnamese Brands, analyze the morphology, advantages and disadvantages of the Brand Identity System of Vietnamese Brands.
Students will practice and perfect the strategy of Re-designing the Brand Identity System for an existing Vietnamese Brand in today's market
Following part 1b, the Student will work in group and propose the graphic strategy of Redesigning the Brand Identity System for Vietnamese Brands mentioned above.
Finally, students will practice the process of designing the Brand Identity System.

Environment and Humanity: The course is designed for students not majoring in the field of Environmental Studies, helping students acquire basic knowledge about the environment, the interrelationship between humans and the environment, environmental science bases, causes and consequences of environmental pollution and climate change, solutions to reduce pollution and adapt to the impacts of climate change. The content of the course is delivered on the basis of students' self-study with the support of teachers in terms of content, route and research methods. Research topics are developed on the basis of the following contents: Some basic concepts about the environment; Environmental pollution and impacts; Approaches in environmental protection; Mitigation and adaptation to climate change.

Eco Design: The course presents the principles of sustainable design; the core foundation that characterizes sustainable design trends and capture the interconnectedness of sustainable design across different design disciplines. The course also helps develop skills in applying idea generation and incorporating sustainable design thinking as part of the design process to achieve the optimal design solution. In addition, through simulation exercises, students can participate in groupwork in order to developed critical thinking skills as well as skills in expressing and presenting ideas. Finally, the course will equip students with an attitude and an objective perspective on environmental issues in order to consider or adjust the appropriate design thinking.

Environmental Graphic Design: Environmental Graphic Design, like many other design fields, are not simply created by a series of different utility applications, aimed at the ultimate goal of serving users. However, the important point of environmental graphic design is to change the perception in design thinking, that it not only carries commercial value or serves user convenience, but also aims to developing a sustainable community, satisfying the needs of social security life. Therefore, in addition to the general requirements of basic graphic design, learners will be equipped with, provided and supplemented with, a large amount of professional knowledge about environmental design, including factors such as; climate, energy sources, resources, materials design, technical standards, as well as evaluation methods and general regulations in design, to gradually move towards building and developing a sustainable environmental graphic design industry.

Seminar III: The Market Economy - Entrepreneurship (Skills: applying for jobs / Business relations / Economics - Business (consumption, products, etc.): Students will learn to exchange business models according to new trends; how to approach the market, effective application of learned knowledge in practice. Students wil develop an individual or a small group project to start a business in their area of expertise. Students will gain exposure to the real market and handle real-life situations.

Motion graphics: The course includes theoretical knowledge of the important elements in graphics, motion, animation, advertising. During the learning process, students will apply theory, conduct surveys in order to choose a topic and implement a motion graphic design project for a real project. By means of graphics and software techniques, students will create motion graphics clusters according to a creative and artistic script and theme content, ensuring communication and aesthetics. Activities are always knowledge-integrated and students are required to make short motions, content introductions, animations and visuals for TV shows or short clips.

User interface design: is a field that was developed when Web 2.0 and E-commerce appeared (2003) with the aim of helping users interact directly with computers and other electronic devices through graphical components such as images, slider, navigation, etc. It also acts as a unit to convey the message of the service provider or product to the customer so that they can view, understand and use the product effectively, help increase sales and enhance brand image. The course provides students with the concepts, principles, implementation processes and development trends of the field. Students will be equipped with knowledge and skills to create a real product with new and popular tools on the market, after the course, they can immediately participate in real projects at design units. next.

Experience design: Students will design an experience project for a project or a graphic theme for a living environment. Students are required to apply analytical thinking skills, design principles for the goal of experiencing in the living environment. The goal of students is to experience real-life users of design products, and propose reasonable and effective design solutions.

Service design: Students will design a service design Students are required to apply for a project or a graphic theme for an environmental activity. Apply analytical thinking skills, apply design principles to service design goals in a living environment. The goal is that students have to experience some types of services and meet design requirements, and propose reasonable and effective design solutions for impressive and efficient use.

Thematic research for Graphic design: Environmental Graphic Design, like many other design fields, are not simply created by a series of different utility applications, aimed at the ultimate goal of serving users. However, the important point of environmental graphic design is to change the perception in design thinking, that it not only carries commercial value or serves user convenience, but also aims to developing a sustainable community, satisfying the needs of social security life. Therefore, in addition to the general requirements of basic graphic design, learners will be equipped with, provided and supplemented with, a large amount of professional knowledge about environmental design, including factors such as; climate, energy sources, resources, materials design, technical standards, as well as evaluation methods and general regulations in design, to gradually move towards building and developing a sustainable environmental graphic design industry

Pre-Graduation Project: The course includes:
Part 1: Determining the design basis - the topic's content orientation. Students will work with lecturers to determine the design basis, basic scientific research methods to research the topic and develop content for the topic.
Part 2: Design implementation - Developing a design plan - determining the appropriate presentation style for the content. Students will study design styles, determine design directions, and develop a personal design style that matches the identified content.
Part 3: Finalizing the design system and implement the finished product for the presentation system; develop a presentation plan, a space to introduce the project, and produce real products on the basis of research and development.

Graduation project
Students are guided on how to find ideas in order to design a system of projects and apply the combined knowledge of the four years of study to convey the desired topic and messages with appropriate graphic genres.
Students are trained in the skills of developing a design portfolio, which include: researching, analyzing, design orientation, sketching, expressing and processing graphic genres along with a scientific and appropriate work plan in order to ensure progress according to the regulations of the university. The course project has the following requirements:
